The Benefits of Walking

There are numerous benefits of walking such as, increasing circulation,
increasing oxygen intake, stretching and toning the muscles, burning calories
and good talks with a walking partner. The challenge is to walk correctly.
It's estimated that over 80% of the population experience or will experience
back problems. Back problems result from a number of things, i.e., bad
posture, wrongful sleeping positions, or an injury. The fundamental key
is changing those wrongful posture habits to promote a healthy spine.
Walking can help but it's imperative to walk in the correct fashion.
Whether you are experiencing back pain or not, it's imperative to know if
your skeletal structure is balanced or symmetrical. Take a look in the
mirror and see if you can notice if your face is symmetrical. If you're not
certain, take a photo of yourself, scan it, and put it into a computer file.
Create a mirror image of yourself.
The mirror image can reveal a great deal about your skeletal
structure, whether or not your spine is align correctly. Depending upon
the facial features may determine how you correct your daily habits, i.e.,
sitting, sleeping and walking.
