Recently I was experiencing some pain in my neck after a nights sleep. I would turn my neck a few times, from left to right, and the bones seemed to crack and align correctly. I realized my neck was out of place, perhaps from the sleeping position. I wasn't exactly sure so I did an experiment. One thing I noticed, I didn't experience any neck pain before until I changed my sleeping position, from laying flat on my back to that of laying on my side. Also, I refrained from following Dr. Isogai's sleeping position techniques. I simply reverted back to my original sleeping techniques that I learned from Dr. Isogai and never experienced the pain in my neck again. Now my back is straight, therefore, allowing the vertebra in my neck to align properly as well. The over-all outcome is the healthy curvature of the spine. Sleeping positions are very important, yielding a good night sleep and properly aligning the spine. This is the simplest exercise to help promote a healthy spine but often overlooked, the sleeping position. Approximately one-third of a day is used in various sleeping positions, therefore, it only makes sense to utilize this time to promote a healthy spine. That's how I eliminated the pain in my neck.
