Upper Back Pain...Eliminate It!

I was succumbed to upper back pain after a near fatal boating accident over 20-years ago. The results of the accident left me with a broken back, numerous doctor and chiropractor visits, escalating medical bills and excruciating pain.

Over the course of several months there was no relief in my back, the upper back pain wouldn't subside. Pain was prevalent every moment, it was extremely difficult to sleep and focus my attention on anything. Even pain medication didn't work, it merely left me drowsy.

Several of the doctors suggested surgery, however, I wasn't quick to jump at their recommendations. They were unable to give me the assurance that my back would regain its health, pain free. As a result, I chose to explore every possible means of treatment to restore my back and eliminate all the upper back pain, leg pain, neck pain, lower back pain, shoulder pain and nerve racking headaches. My body was a total wreck.

With the help of friends, we discovered a Japanese doctor who expressed confidence that my back could be restored if I followed his proven back therapy program. After-all, he had researched some 900,000 case studies. I'd be a "fool" not to explore this golden opportunity to heal my back.

Over the course of a few months I studied directly under the Japanese doctor as a patient and student. I learned how to restore my back to its original condition and how to maintain my back for optimum health. I'm still utilizing the techniques I learned years ago to maintain a "back pain free" lifestyle.

One important element I learned is having the correct curvature of the spine. If the spine suffers abnormal curves and/or twisting, the results could lead to severe health problems, much greater than the mere pain from back problems. Also, with regards to pain, it's not necessarily the painful spot that is the problem, the real root problem could lie elsewhere and manifest itself as pain at a specific body location. For example, upper back pain may be the result of some other problem associated with the spine and/or hip joints.

Granted, upper back pain could be the result of bad posture exerting muscle fatigue in the upper body. Or, the pain could be the result of a blunt force to the upper back. Regarding bad posture, the question arises, "Why do you have bad posture?" It may be because of abnormal curvatures or twisting of the spine. If that's the case, the remedy is to get the spine back to its proper alignment.

How to get the spine back to its correct curvature.

That was my main problem after my accident, getting the spine back to its proper curvature. Doctors suggested fusing the bones together and chiropractors suggested pushing the bones back into place. I visited a few chiropractors but they referred me back to doctors. They didn't want to use force, which they normally would, to attempt to "fix" my back. My back was simply too screwed up.

The Japanese doctor did just what the western doctors and chiropractors could not do, with his therapy program he was able to restore the curvature of my spine, back to its healthy condition. It did take some effort on my part, it wasn't some over-night miracle cure. Through learning the therapy techniques and proper posture habits, my back was restored to a healthy condition and continues to maintain a healthy condition to this day.
